Meet the Authors
The authors live in Jonathan Creek Valley near Waynesville, North Carolina in the beautiful Smoky Mountains where they have made their home since retirement in April of 2006.
Symm McCord was born, raised and educated in the Augusta, Georgia area with two years of his senior college being spent at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. After his medical training at the Medical College of Georgia he was drafted as a physician into the U. S. Army Medical Corps and spent a year in the Republic of Vietnam. On returning to the U. S. from the army he went into private family practice until his retirement in 2006. Symm practiced medicine in Sylva, North Carolina, and Augusta and Grovetown in Georgia. The beginnings of the concept of The Challenge of JHWH began developing in his mind during July of 1947 after seeing the newspaper articles written about the Roswell, New Mexico incident and the sightings of Kenneth Arnold. Through the years he has read many of the research works which have been printed that solidified his thoughts about the subject. The recent Witness to Roswell written by Carey and Schmitt and its deathbed affidavit by Lt. Walter Haut was the final piece of evidence needed to confirm the existence of the alien presence.
Lt. Col. Jesse Marcel, who was the first U.S. military official to reach and examine the Roswell crash scene, also admitted to several researchers that the material he was showing in the famous 1947 photo had been changed from what he had found and that the debris he had witnessed "was not from this earth". Jesse Marcel's son, Jesse Marcel, Jr., who also became a field grade military officer, recently revealed in The Roswell Legacy that his father, only a year or so before the Roswell incident, had graduated from a military advanced radar school in which he became well versed and familiarized with all of the current weather balloons used by the military.
Jacquelyn McCord is a retired Registered Nurse. A graduate of St. Petersburg junior college in Florida and the University of Tennessee. She was born in Augusta, Georgia and has also lived in Pinellas Park, Florida, Morristown, Tennessee and Sylva, North Carolina.
